One day I came up with the crazy idea of biking from Leh to Srinagar. The other day I find myself in Leh deciding to crash test the idea...Rented a bike and cycled some 29km between Nimu and Spituk, the first 12km going uphill almost non-stop. Excrutiating at times but not enough to make me give up on Srinagar; it's only an extra 420km distance and around 1500m vertically afterall!
