My first encouter with Africa...Love at first sight! Ethiopia is absolutely beautiful for its colorful and smiling people but also for its stunning nature and wildlife. We started our journey in the Rift Valley which counts several beautiful lakes and National Parks. Afterwards we went to the Northern part through Gonder for its castle, then the breathtaking Simien Mountains and finally to the historic Lalibela with its rock-hewn churches believed by many to be the 8th world wonder and according to some Ethiopian legend, the Ark of the Convenant may be secretely kept somewhere here...
